Winter in the Fassa Valley

The uniqueness of the Dolomite mountain scenery in the Fassa Valley, the numerous ski slopes and modern and fast ski-lift carousel are the reasons for which the Azzurri (the National Team) have chosen the Fassa Valley as the ideal site for their condition training. The Museo Ladin de Fascia for protection of the expressions of the linguistic heritage, the cultural and artistic tradition of this community of the Ladin linguistic minority, with its 600 sqms of exhibition space; furthermore there are also several ethnographic collections and the museum organizes among other things thematic exhibitions and ludic-didactic workshops for children (www.istladin.net)

• Night Skiing in the ski stadium in Pozza (the pass is part of the several day ski-pass for the Fassa Valley, Carezza and Dolomiti Superski).
• Excursions on snow-covered paths and forest roads which you can walk by foot or with special snow shoes (ciaspole).
• Ascent on ice waterfalls.
• Ice skating, outdoor or in the hall of the ice stadium in Alba.
• Descent in rubber dinghies.
